Marin's Only Certified Clean, Green Marina Almost Wasn't Allowed to Exist

When Paul Kaplan sat down to begin the permit process for his boat yard over 15 years ago, the first thing he heard was that the only project harder to get approved, would be a nuclear power plant.

Today, that boat yard is the only clean certified one in all of Marin.

In this conversation, he talks about why SSWA exists: To put credible, firsthand information in front of people, and to ask why our spectacular shoreline has sat blighted for decades.
